| Description: You are viewing a beautiful vintage Weiss Knights Helmet Pin/Brooch that has a gold tone setting accented with beading and graced with green and black rhinestones. Black stones around the mouth piece and green covering the helmet. It is embossed with the ©WEISS mark. The turn clasp is in working order. I don't know the date of this mark but the company was in business from 1942 - 1971. I found the same pin in a different color listed as rare with a value of $75.00 - $95.00 ( Reference: Costume Jewelry 101, Julia C. Carroll). This lovely useful and collectible vintage Weiss pin could be yours for much less.
Condition: The finish and clasp are in very good condition. The rhinestones are all intact, they have not been cleaned, they are as found. There is one black stone that is raised on one side but still in the prong setting, four of the smaller black stones and two green stones have some residue on the top that could be hairspray or possibly glue. The rhinestones could use a cleaning, but since I am not an expert in this area, I will leave this to the new owner.
