| A Lovely Blue Lily Ironstone Butter Dish Staffordshire England |

| This is a wonderful vintage blue and white ware ceramic butter dish that was produced in the Staffordshire region of England. It has a scallop edged tray and is decorated with blue onions, flowers and leaves. The mark on the underside reads: Blue Lily / SR / Made in Staffordshire England / Genuine Hand Engraving / Dishwasher Safe / Ironstone / 4423. I believe this to be ca. 1974. It is in good condition: there are no chips or cracks, just some brown staining to the scallop edge, stilt marks and the inside of the lid. It measures approximately: 8 1/4" L by 4 1/2" W.
