Gnomes Book (paperback)

Lovely & colorful paperback book published in 1979 (a #1 Bestseller at the time), written about forest gnomes, originally published in the Netherlands and later translated here in the US.  Truly a collector’s item.  Text by Wil Huygen & illustrated by Rien Pourtvliet (A Peacock Books/Bantam Book Publication).  1 owner, purchased in 1979.

Condition: Good

Faults:

Cover: yellowed some & worn surface & on edges, fraying a little from binding with small tare rear, bottom.

Interior: The first page has come lose, first 15 ten pages or so have a little ruffling at the bottom left of the page from a what looks like a drip of coffee (woops). 

Other than those issues the book is beautiful & the art work is absolutely fantastic.  Not bad for a 43 year old paperback.   It just needs some tender loving care, a good home & maybe some book binding glue.  Please look at the pictures and ask questions, if you have concerns before purchasing.
